This semester has been a whirlwind of energy, learning, and growth as I coached and taught over 150 incredible students in RIT 365. Watching them navigate challenges, embrace new ideas, and grow into confident, thoughtful individuals has been nothing short of inspiring.
As we wrap up Fall 2024, I’m deeply humbled to have received the Students' Choice Teaching Excellence Award at RIT. Knowing this recognition comes from my students’ feedback means the world to me. Their words—about feeling supported in goal-setting, experiencing diverse perspectives, and finding our course well-organized—are a reminder of why I do what I do.
Coaching isn’t just about teaching concepts; it’s about creating an environment where people feel seen, heard, and empowered. For me, this semester has been a reminder that education is as much about connection as it is about knowledge.
